    • Abbey Youth Fest
      St. Genevieve Youth Group will be joining the fun at Abbey Youth Fest this year on Saturday, March 21! This awesome event for 8th-12th graders is filled with music, fellowship, and amazing speakers, and it takes place at St. Joseph Abbey in Covington. Bus transportation will be provided to and from the event, and the cost of admission will be covered for St. Genevieve youth through a grant to our youth group.     • 5th-7th Grade Lock-In
      5th-7th graders across Deanery X are invited to a lock-in at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Lacombe on Friday, February 28 from 8 am-8 pm. The cost is $20 and includes lunch, a snack, dinner, and a t-shirt. To participate, you must register by February 19. To register, email mlacourrege@stgenevieve.us.

      Our painting class has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 25 from 1-3 pm as art instructor Ms. Dana DeNoux had something come up. Instead this weekend, February 22 from 1-3 pm at the Youth Room, 6th-12th graders are invited to come and learn to make cute and zany bookmarks that will be donated to a local organization.

    • High School Service Learning Program
      Youth ages 13-18 are invited to take part in the service learning program of St. Genevieve Youth Ministry. Youth can participate in areas such as photography, writing, teaching, child care, arts and crafts, and business. Participants will gain real experience and service hours through serving our youth ministry in their interest area. Youth can volunteer as few or as many times as they would like.
