      Don't forget our Trimming the Tree Family Life Ministry Event December 2nd immediately following 4 pm Mass. We will Christmas Carol, make crafts, sign Christmas Cards for the detainees at the Florida Parish Juvenile Detention Center, eat and fellowship together, decorate the tree, and may even have a surprise visit from a jolly old Elf.       We’re pleased to announce that St. Genevieve now provides Online Giving.  This is a convenient and safe way to make a one-time or recurring donation.  The official launch date will correspond with the beginning of the Advent Season starting on Saturday, Dec 2nd.  We have already completed the testing phase and are moving into the early registration phase, effective immediately.    Getting started is easy—just visit our website, www.stgenevieve.us and click the Online Giving Icon.   Registration is simple an easy.    When you participate, your gift will transfer directly into the parish account and will also be applied directly to your membership profile.    Those visiting St. Genevieve, who wish to make a donation, Quick Give is available for your convenience.  Just go to www.stgenevieve.us and select the Online Giving icon on the Home Page.   Now, there will be no need to remember to write a check or stop by the ATM before attending mass.

      All Youth ages 5—17 Are welcome to join us as we Lift our voice to Sing to the Lord! Practice is Wednesdays 5pm—6pm in the meeting room next door to the Hall.       Hurricane Harvey evacuees will be returning to their homes to recover and rebuild and will need information to help them. There has been a migration of evacuees from Texas coming into Louisiana seeking refuge and assistance. Many of these families are showing up at partner agencies and churches seeking assistance.       Every Tuesday 2 classes are held; the first class is from 11am - Noon and the second class is from 7pm - 8pm in the Parish Hall. On Wednesday there is one class from 7pm - 8pm in the Parish Hall.
