“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in Heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them.” (Mt:18:19-20)

The prayer group is made up of people who are convinced that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is worthy to be praised. We come together each Tuesday evening to pray together and to ask the Holy Spirit to lead us. We begin by praying the rosary. We offer praise and worship by song. We read Scripture and pray for the needs of our parish family. We pray for our special intentions, the prayer requests of everyone who ask for our prayer and for the church and the world.

The prayer group began in 1987 under the leadership of Bill Strecker. It continues today with Bill and Edolia Barros as co-leaders.

“No one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.” God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying ‘Abba! Father!’ This knowledge of faith is possible only in the Holy Spirit; to be in touch with Christ, we must first have been touched by the Holy Spirit. He comes to meet us and kindles faith in us. By virtue of our Baptism, the Sacrament of the Faith, the Holy Spirit in the Church communicates to us, intimately and personally, the life that originates in the Father and is offered to us in the Son.

We invite and encourage everyone to please join us on Tuesdays to give praise and worship to our Lord and to grow in holiness with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The Charismatic Prayer Group meets each Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the Church.
