Deacon Dan Haggerty is married to his wife, Janet for 50 years. They have 7 children, 29 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Deacon Dan was ordained in 1981 and has completed the Spiritual Directors Formation for the Archdiocese and his course studied for a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies.

Deacon Dan been assigned to St. Genevieve since 1998. He also serves as Chaplain for the Slidell Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and as a Spiritual Director for the Archdiocese
